CONTROVERSIAL Zim dancehall chanter Soul Jah Love, who recently did a prayer for Seh Calaz on social media after the demise of the latter’s marriage, has turned it into a song titled Prayer YaBoss Yala.

Soul Jah Love’s prayer became popular on social media.

The supplication by the chanter seeks to reunite Seh Calaz and the now estranged wife, Moira Knight.

Soul Jah Love, who spoke to H-Metro through DKT Records, said the prayer and the song are genuine and it is not a publicity stunt.

The song, Prayer YaBoss Yala, has excerpts of the main prayer done by Soul Jah Love on social media and there is a chorus with the lines:

“Taunzwa munamato waSauro…/…kutsva kwendebvu tinodzimurana, taisa michinjikwa mitatu…”

Soul Jah Love explained why he had to do a prayer and said the song was inspired by Diroman an upcoming artiste.

“Kutsvakwendebvu varume tinodzimurana. And experience is the best teacher. So this happened to me and it’s something that is not good at all. I can’t let the same issue attack my friend.

“On the song, I was motivated by an artiste called Diroman, who is an upcoming artiste, when I heard him singing a comforting song.

“And the prayer was 100% geniune,” said Soul Jah Love.

Seh Calaz camp has also welcomed Soul Jah Love’s prayer and believes it was genuinely done.

“I guess it’s something he did from his heart and his well wishes are received with thanks,” said the Publicist of Seh Calaz – George Damson.
